A few more ATC's to add to the list. These are mostly done in watercolor, but a couple, the "One Pink Rose" and "A Daisy A Day" are done on a faux rusty metal on watercolor paper, then painted with acrylic. Also, I did an exchange with Helen M. from Australia and on "Faux Surfaces". I'll include the pictures of our exchanges of paintings and small gifts. As usual this was a great Painting Exchange from PDU (Paint Down Under).
Mirror Lake

Spring Lilacs

Yum Strawberries
Watermelon
One Pink Rose
A Daisy a Day
One Yellow Apple
The Old Tree

The following are the PDU Exchange gifts between Helen M. and me. Helen sent me a beautiful Place mat (wood) and coaster with Australian flowers, a beautiful embroidered hand towel and a darling Russian Doll nailfile. Also a lovely handmade card.
My gifts to Helen in return were a wooden plate with roses, a nailfile and tweezers, R.C.M.P. coasters, a dreamcatcher fridge magnet, a set of brushes and a Canada postcard with an indian on it. I also painted a watercolor card and forgot to take a picture of it.
The enlarged photo of the plate allows you to see the faux tarnished metal background as well as a closer look at the roses.

CREATIVE PAINTING LAS VEGAS 2013
Here are some of the creations that I managed to finish at the convention Feb. 24th to Mar. 1st. It was a really fun time meeting up with old friends and making new ones. I did an oil painting, watercolors and one Acrylic (which I haven't quite finished yet and will show later).
This Gardenia was painted with Claudette Bryant Garcia and was a 4 hour class. Watercolor. The size of this one is 11" x 15", in the mat, it's 12" x 16".
The watercolors are done with Sue Scheewe Brown and we did several within the 4 hour class. It was steady going, but was a very informative class and I loved it!
More Sue Scheewe Brown watercolors in the same class.
This one is an oil with Robert Warren and took 6 hours to do this one. The photo doesn't do the colors justice and they are all on the "Pinkish Brown" tones. Size is 12" x 16"
Entangled Butterfly class was with Janice Miller and again in watercolor and inks. This also was a 6 hour class and we had to work really hard to finish it and the tangles on the mat. Can't wait to get this framed. Size is 11" x 14".
This was our brain teasing warm up for the Entangled Butterfly class. We were told to write out name and incorporate it into a tangle. Here's my try. LOL
This is a 12" x 16" watercolor painting again with Sue Scheewe Brown and was a delight to paint. I have to mat and frame it yet, but I'm sure it will be much more impressive that way.
The convention was so much fun and I managed to hit the outlet malls between classes. Did well there! I picked up so many neat ideas and tips on the Trade Floor and in the classes, that I can use in other creations such as ATC's, etc.
