Creative Painting in Las Vegas Feb. 27th to Mar. 6th, 2011
The Convention was great and I had a fabulous time. I enjoyed the lovely classes that I took. Carol was a great roommate and we shopped till we dropped, as well as painted. I also made many new friends during the convention. These are some of the paintings that I did. I still have one more to finish before posting. It's called Boats in the harbour.

DTC ~Black & White Swap
This is the BEAUTIFUL Black & White DTC that I received from Sue Rhodes in D.A.I.C. I absolutely love it and she did it on scratch art paper and slightly colored the eye in greenish blue. I'm going to frame it and put it in my office.
The one I did for Sue Beckerton is at the right (Zentangle).

Lacy Floral
This is one of my favorite pieces that I designed to teach at a convention in 2006. I used it on several hand made cards and the background is a very pale pink. The wood piece is from Coyote Woodworks in Ontario Canada.
Roses & Lilacs
This is a piece that I designed and taught at the Paint in Alberta Convention in Calgary a few years ago. It was so much fun to see how everyone developed their skills in the class.
